Community guidelines

The one rule that matters most

Everyone here is a person, not content. Almost every other rule on this page is a specific application of that. If you treat the people you meet as participants in a conversation rather than as something provided for your entertainment, you will not have a problem here.

Hard limits

These result in immediate permanent removal, and where legally required, a report to law enforcement.

• Anything involving minors. Any sexual content involving a minor, any attempt to contact a minor, any account we cannot verify as an adult. No exceptions, no warnings.
• Credible threats of violence against a person or a group.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, including threats to distribute it.
• Sexual content shared without consent — sending explicit images or messages to someone who has not asked for them.
• Child sexual abuse material. Removed and reported immediately, without exception.

Not allowed

These result in session termination on the first report, and account removal on a repeat or severe instance.

• Harassment. Sustained insults, stalking, following someone between sessions, or contacting someone who has blocked you.
• Hate speech. Attacking people on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation.
• Unsolicited sexual content. Flirting is fine if it is welcome. Explicit content sent to someone who has not asked for it is not, and it is removed on the first report rather than after a pattern.
• Sharing someone else's private information. Names, addresses, workplaces, phone numbers, images — anything that identifies a person who did not consent to being identified.
• Scams and financial solicitation. Asking for money, gift cards, crypto, or bank details. This is always a scam, in both directions.
• Recording or broadcasting without consent. Screenshotting a text conversation or screen-recording a video call to share it.
• Impersonation. Claiming to be someone else, or misrepresenting your age.
• Advertising and solicitation. Promoting products, services, other platforms, or recruiting for anything.
• Malware and phishing. Links to malicious or fraudulent sites. Links from unverified accounts are blocked outright.
• Bots and automation. Scripts, scrapers, or automated accounts. Removed at the network level.

Encouraged

• Open with something specific rather than a bare greeting.
• Ask to be corrected if you are practising a language — most people will not do it unprompted.
• Take a skip as a complete answer. It needs no explanation and it is not an invitation to try harder.
• Send a friend request before you skip if the conversation was good.
• Report rather than argue. Reports are read by people; arguments are not productive.
• Leave a conversation that feels wrong. You never owe a stranger a reason.

How enforcement works

Automated filters catch unsolicited sexual content, early contact-sharing, known scam patterns and links from unverified accounts. These act immediately.

Human moderators cover a staffed queue twenty-four hours a day. Every report is read by a person. Where the facts are ambiguous, a human decides rather than a filter.

Consequences escalate: session termination, then account removal, then a device and network ban for repeat offenders. A network ban closes the obvious workaround of registering again.

Appeals. If you believe a decision was wrong, email safety@omeglegirlschat.com with the approximate time and what happened. Appeals are read by a person who was not involved in the original decision.

How to report

Use the report button during the session — that captures the context a moderator needs. If the session has already ended, or you are reporting a pattern across sessions, email safety@omeglegirlschat.com.

Reports involving a minor, a credible threat of violence, or non-consensual intimate imagery are escalated immediately and handled outside the normal queue.

If someone asks you for something

You never have to justify a refusal, and you never have to explain why you are leaving. Skip is one click. Block is one click and it is permanent. Neither requires a reason and neither will be questioned.
