Privacy policy

The short version

• We do not store chat transcripts. Message content is deleted when your session ends.
• There are no third-party advertising trackers on this site.
• We do not sell personal data, and we do not build advertising profiles.
• You can use text, voice, video and voice notes without creating an account.
• The only things that persist are the ones you explicitly create: saved chats and friend connections.

What we collect, and why

If you do not create an account

We process your IP address and a device fingerprint for the duration of your session. This exists for two reasons: to keep automated accounts out of the match pool, and to enforce bans against repeat offenders. It is not used for advertising, it is not shared with third parties for marketing, and it is not shown to other users.

We also process the interests and language settings you choose, so matching can work. These are held for the session and are not associated with a persistent identity unless you create an account.

If you create an account

We store your email address, a hashed password, your saved chats, and your friend connections. We do not store your conversations. A "saved chat" stores the fact that you talked to someone and the parts you explicitly chose to keep — not a full transcript.

Message content

Message content is held in memory for the duration of a session so that it can be delivered, and is deleted when you disconnect. We do not write transcripts to persistent storage, and we do not retain them for moderation or analytics purposes.

One exception, stated plainly: when you press report, the relevant session context is captured and passed to a human moderator. That capture is deleted once the report is resolved.

Voice and video

Live voice and video calls are not recorded by us. Voice notes are transmitted and stored only long enough to be delivered, then deleted. Voice notes are scanned by the same automated moderation filters as text.

Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local storage entries for session handling and for remembering your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run third-party marketing pixels, and we do not participate in cross-site tracking or data-broker arrangements.

Because we do not use advertising or analytics cookies that track you across sites, there is no cookie consent banner — there is nothing optional to consent to.

Who we share data with

We share personal data only in these circumstances:

• Infrastructure providers who host and deliver the service, under contract and only as needed to operate it.
• Legal obligations, where we are required by law to disclose information, or where disclosure is necessary to prevent serious harm or a criminal offence. We assess each request individually and push back on overbroad ones.
• Safety escalation, where there is an immediate risk to life or where a report involves a minor, we may contact the relevant authorities without notice.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use your data to train machine learning models.

How long we keep things

• Message content: deleted when the session ends.
• Report captures: deleted when the report is resolved.
• Account data: retained while your account is open, and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
• Abuse records: where an account has been banned for a serious violation, we retain a minimal record to prevent re-registration. This record contains no conversation content.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email support@omeglegirlschat.com from the address associated with your account.

Note that because we do not retain transcripts, there is no conversation history for us to provide or delete — it is already gone.

Children

OmegaGirlsChat is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Age assurance is enforced at signup, and any account we cannot verify as an adult is removed. If you believe a minor is using the service, email safety@omeglegirlschat.com immediately.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
