Getting started
The basics
Is OmegaGirlsChat free?
Yes, entirely. Text chat, video chat, voice calls, voice notes, friend requests and saved chats are all free. There are no credits, no message limits and no subscription, and no premium tier unlocks any of it.
Do I need to sign up?
No. You can start a text, voice or video chat immediately with no account. You need a free account only for the features that require memory: saved chats, friend requests and message requests.
How old do I have to be?
Eighteen. OmegaGirlsChat is strictly 18+, with age assurance enforced at signup. We remove any account we cannot verify as an adult, and reports involving a minor are escalated outside the normal moderation queue.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Everything runs in your browser on both mobile and desktop — iOS, Android, Windows and macOS. There is nothing to install and no store listing to find.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. OmegaGirlsChat runs in any modern mobile browser using standard WebRTC for voice and video, so quality matches the desktop experience. No app, no download.
Matching
How matching and conversations work
How fast is matching?
The median time from pressing start to being connected is 2.4 seconds, measured over a rolling seven-day window. Match time is slightly longer outside peak hours and in less common interest categories.
How are people matched?
Matching is weighted by the interests and languages you select, drawn from a pool of device-verified accounts only. It is a weighting rather than a hard filter, so match times stay predictable and you still meet people outside your usual topics.
Can I choose who I talk to?
You cannot pick an individual, but you can weight the pool heavily using interests, language and accent filters. If a match is not working, skip and you will be rematched in roughly the same time as the first match.
Can I switch between text, voice and video?
Yes, inside the same conversation. Switching does not re-match you and does not lose the thread, so you can start in text and move to a voice call or video without starting over.
What if I get disconnected?
Send the other person a message request from your match history. It waits in their inbox until they next open the site, and they decide whether to reply. No other random chat platform offers this.

How do you keep bots out?
Device fingerprinting and behavioural scoring run before an account can enter the match pool, and accounts showing scripted patterns are removed at the network level rather than one report at a time. Because we do not sell credits, we have no commercial incentive to pad the pool with automated profiles.
How is the site moderated?
Automated filters handle obvious violations such as unsolicited sexual content, early contact-sharing and known scam patterns. Everything ambiguous goes to a queue staffed by human moderators covering twenty-four hours a day. Every report is read by a person.
What happens when I report someone?
You are disconnected immediately and the session context is filed with the human moderation queue. Accounts that breach the community guidelines are removed, and repeat offenders are banned at the network level. Unsolicited sexual content results in removal on the first report.
Is random video chat safe?
It is as safe as the moderation behind it, plus your own judgement. Here that means verified accounts, permanent blocking, staffed moderation and the camera off by default. Your side is never showing documents, never sharing identifying details, and treating anything on camera as recordable.
Can I be matched with someone I blocked?
No. Blocking removes an account from your pool across text, voice and video simultaneously, permanently. It does not expire and does not reset between sessions.

Do you store my chat history?
No. Message content is held in memory for the duration of the session only and deleted when you disconnect. We do not keep transcripts. Saved chats and friend connections persist only because you created them explicitly.
Is it really anonymous?
You can chat with no account and no profile, other users see only the interests you list, and message content is deleted at the end of the session. Device and network checks run for bot prevention and abuse handling, not for advertising or identification. No web platform can offer perfect anonymity and we would rather be precise about the limits.
Do you use my data for advertising?
No. There are no third-party advertising trackers on the site and we do not sell data. The device and network checks we run exist to keep bots and repeat abusers out of the match pool.
Do you record voice and video calls?
No. Live calls are not recorded. This is a deliberate trade-off: recording every call would degrade the experience for the vast majority of users who behave well and would create a sensitive recording store. Abuse in calls is handled through reporting instead.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@omeglegirlschat.com from the address you registered with and we will delete the account and any associated saved chats. Because we do not retain transcripts, there is nothing else to remove.
